Krasnodar, 29 October – Yug Times.The mayors of Krasnodar and Larnaka, Cyprus, have reportedly ratified the partnership agreement.
This was the second mandatory stage in the procedure of signing international contracts. During his working visit to Cyprus, Krasnodar mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov and his Cypriot colleague Andreas Viras signed the agreement that had earlier been concluded in Krasnodar.
“[We did it] for the sake of cooperation between Krasnodar and Larnaka in all spheres, starting from economic and finishing with cultural ones,” Mr. Pervyshov commented. “We see interest of Cypriot companies and Larnaka mayor in developing our cooperation. I am confident that our partnership will turn into a real friendship of our cities.”
Mr, Pervyshov also held meetings with the leaders of the local Chamber of Trade and Industry and business circles. The parties discussed the possibilities for cooperation in tourism, commerce, hotel business, education and industry. For instance, Cypriot and Krasnodar enterprises are interested in imports of olive oil to Krasnodar.
