Krasnodar, 18 October – Yug Times. The deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly together with public activists have reportedly reviewed the interim results of the progress of the short-term project of capital repairs of apartment buildings. It was stated that the collection rate of the mandatory capital repairs fee in Krasnodar province is higher than the average national figure. At the same time, some municipalities have stay behind schedule and failed to drawdown the collected money.
According to the noncommercial company “Fund of capital repairs of apartment buildings” which is the regional operator of capital overhauls in the region, there are 805 buildings included in the repairs plan for this year. However, the Fund could not announce the precise percentage of fulfilment of the plan, claiming that 33 projects are completed every week which figure includes both buildings from this year’s plan and those unfulfilled and thus carried over from previous periods. At the same time, the regional branch of the all-Russia Popular Front has reported that the short-term program for the year 2019 has been fulfilled by 32% so far.
Currently, the Fund’s volume is 6.093 billion roubles collected from flat owners. So far, the Fund has spent 3.261 billion roubles, including 1.182 billion this year. The rest are lying dormant.
According to the State Duma deputy Natalia Kostenko, MPs “will try to find the ways to resolve the problem and work out the tactics of improving the executive discipline in Krasnodar province and other municipalities that are tardy with capital overhauls.”
