Krasnodar, 16 October – Yug Times. 16+ Sergei Ivanov, president and chairman of the Council of directors of Development Yug construction company explains the necessity of high corporate culture and what contributes to becoming a leader: he strongly believes that it is a strong team of professionals, honesty, and openness.
“The history of Development Yug Corporation started in 1995, when the core of our team began to shape up. Our today’s ‘strongholds’ are our vice presidents, for instance, Viktor Balan and Sergei Yakovlev, with whom I have worked for 35 years.
“On the other hand, two thirds of the Company’s top management are people under 40 years of age. These people are used to travelling around the world, studying at European schools (say, the Stockholm or Swiss Business Schools); they have broad senses of perception.
They assess the work of other successful companies in various industries, and do benchmarking bringing their own ideas and ways of perfection of business processes. “What do I consider important for the people of my team? However paradoxical it may seem, I want them to be cleverer than I am – so that I was able to transfer them my life experience but at the same time to learn something from them. I value it if my subordinates set ambitious goals and do their best to achieve them. All my colleagues are personalities of great talent.
