Krasnodar, 9 October – Yug Times. The 12th Interregional forum of biggest companies operating in the Southern Federal District held last Friday in Krasnodar was dedicated to the discussion of the national role of the fast-growing regions of the country.
In the context of the forum’s business agenda, representatives of South Russian businesses and power officials together with experts discussed the regions’ role in economic development, strategies of the leading regions, and aspects of interregional cooperation.
“The main opportunity of the forum is to create a platform for the open dialogue between the power, the business circles, and the community, aimed at discussion of the most important national topic – our common part in the implementation of national objectives. President has set a task to enter the world’s top five economies, and the national projects are that driving force which will let us achieve that goal. Let me emphasise once again that a ground-breaking economic growth will depend not only upon the authorities but upon business community too,” regional Minister of Economy Aleksandr Ruppel said.
