Krasnodar, 4 October – Yug Times. 16+ Sergei Zhukov, the all-time leader of the Ruki Vverh! pop and techno band, not only continues his full-house tours throughout the country – he keeps on developing a chain of his own bars valued for their peculiar atmosphere. Currently the Ruki Vverh! Bars operate in five cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Krasnodar and Sochi.
“We are not restaurants, which is very important. What we are opening are entertainment establishments. And we know how to make our guests feel merry, so that they would be hanging on the ceiling and then, when exiting, saying, ‘I was again sixteen here!’” Sergei Zhukov says.
Everything in the bars, starting from the menu and finishing with the interior, is done in the style of the 1990s: audio cassettes, carpets on the walls, a PlayStation every teenager dreamt of, and many other features of that time that now call nostalgia, as well as the signature cocktail Alioshka give the visitors an opportunity to recall all most interesting things from that decade.
“The number of those wishing to visit the official opening of the Ruki Vverh! Bar in Krasnodar was sky high, which was why we decided to arrange a genuine outdoor festival – with music, pelmeni which Sergei associates with his Soviet-time childhood, and a good mood,” Veronika Zavarzina, PR Manager of the federal chain Ruki Vverh! Bar explained.
