Krasnodar, 1 October – Yug Times. The regional centre of support and promotion of talents will reportedly appear in Krasnodar province.
Last week, the Council supervised by the plenipotentiary representative of the President in the Southern Federal District Vladimir Ustinov was summoned to discuss the implementation of the state youth policy.
Speaking at the session, Mr. Ustinov said that the work of regional and municipal authorities in the sphere of state youth policy is a priority issue, for presently there are more than three million young people living in the Southern Federal District.
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev took part in the meeting. In his report, he said that the region pays special attention to patriotic and spiritual education of the youth. He gave an example of the construction of the military and historical park “Patriot”, where the young people will get their initial military-sport training course. He also reminded that Kuban is the nation’s leader in the number of schools with cadet and Cossack classes, and mentioned the Young Cossack League that works in the region. Besides, in the context of the national project “Education”, a regional Centre for detection, support and development of talents of children and youth will be opened in the region.
