Krasnodar, 2 August – Yug Times. This year, the number of holidaymakers that spent their vacations in the Kuban region was higher than during the same period last year, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev stated.
“I would like to stress that last year we were receiving matches of the Mundial, and then we had a steep jump of the tourist flow in the region. The more valuable this year’s growth is. It proves that even without any globally important events, the interest to our region is stably growing,” he said.
Currently the resorts in Krasnodar province offer diverse, haunting and high-quality recreation during any season of the year. The guests are treated not only with such conventional kinds as beaches, sea and health-improvement facilities, but also active sports and cultural programs, agritourism and event tourism. Wine and gastronomic tours are acquiring a peculiar interest. Mr. Kondratiev also announced the events to be held in the region in the near future.
