Krasnodar, 31 July – Yug Times. A session of the Commission on improvement of investment climate in Krasnodar province was reportedly held in the regional capital last week. The participants of the event discussed the main problems the investors are facing in the region – the most important one is the hardships in the work with natural monopolies. Quite often the sum that needs to be paid for getting connected to the power network is unaffordable even for a large investor. What is more, because of the lack of gas supply in the south-western part of the region, the completion of over 100 large-scale projects is being delayed. “Our mighty region may not stop in development because of the lack of allotments,” Governor Veniamin Kondratiev said.
The task of synchronising the plans for investment development of Kuban municipalities and power networks will reportedly be laid upon First Deputy Governor Andrei Alekseyenko and Deputy Governor Vasili Shvets.
