Krasnodar, 9 July – Yug Times. At the 2020 Russian Investment Forum to be held in Sochi next February, Krasnodar province plans to organise a 1,500 sq m stand.
Speaking in an interview last week in Krasnodar, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev recounted the main activities of the future event. According to Mr. Kondratiev, the Forum will be held in the Main Media Centre located in the Olympic Park. As far as it is Krasnodar province that has traditionally been responsible for the hotels, transport, and organisation of road traffic during the event, workgroups on these topics are already being formed in the region.
“As for the preparation of the [city of] Sochi to the Forum, the final schedule is to be approved by October 1. Now I can say that during the event all construction and excavation works will be suspended. The municipal head office supervising the work of the utility and emergency services will work round the clock to be able to react to any emergency situations and control accidents that may appear,” Mr. Kondratiev stressed.
He also added that the regional authorities will focus their efforts on the formation of advantageous investment proposals and preparation of the regional stand.
