Q.: What are the modernisation plans for the Trud Stadium in Krasnodar?
A.: As for the Trud Stadium, it is a private object – but its owner does understand the need for sport facilities in the city. He has already prepared a project for prospective development of the stadium, providing for rugby as its basic sport. It also provides for the upgrading of the track-and-field facilities, and construction of a hotel affordable for the athletes. The other plans included the construction of a swimming pool, open-air playgrounds, and a climbing wall. The project has not been finalised yet, but the owner is working on it, so the prospects for the stadium look good.
