Krasnodar, 28 June – Yug Times. Last week, Chairman of the regional Legislative Assembly Yuri Burlachko presided over a session of the roundtable devoted to socio-economic development of Korenovsk rayon in the context of the fulfilment of the Parliament’s resolution adopted in May 2018.
On the example of Korenovsk, the regional MPs had been perfecting a new format of traditional Days of Municipalities in the Legislative Assembly. At first, the Parliamentary Committees had analysed the situation with socio-economic development in the rayon, and then the deputies had given a number of recommendations to the municipal leaders. During a year, the municipality had to expand the investment volume, increase the number of small and midsize businesses, and complete the construction of socially important projects.
Opening the session, Mr. Burlachko stated that the municipality had managed to do a lot during the year – a new primary health centre was opened, and a new production line at the dairy farm was launched.
Sergei Goloborodko, Head of Korenovsk rayon, said that the number of members of agricultural cooperatives had also risen during the past year. He also mentioned that the municipality is actively involved in the fulfilment of the project, “Formation of modern comfortable urban environment.”
