Krasnodar, 18 June – Yug Times. A new public garden will appear at Novorossiyskaya street in Krasnodar, in the place of the demolished dilapidated building.
The area of the future garden is 0.9 hectares. The site has already been cleaned after the slum clearance. Most of the green zone will be occupied by a playground and a sport ground. In the garden, new trees and shrubs will be planted and flowerbeds made.
“Such green zone can change the appearance of the neighbourhood, so that it will look modern,” Krasnodar Chief Architect Natalia Mashtalir said. “A nice local garden to be laid in this small site facing Novorossiyskaya street, will please the dwellers of the neighbouring houses.”
The residents of the old two-storey block of flats were provided with new accommodation in 2017, when the house was acknowledged “a dangerous structure.”
Now the cleared land plot borders with old metallic garages. The City Hall announced that they will also be demolished to enlarge the area of the new garden. Besides, there will be place for several car parking spaces
