Krasnodar, 30 May – Yug Times. Last week, the 4th festival of opera art, Opera without Frontiers, opened in Krasnodar. This year, it is devoted to Italy, the homeland of this music genre, and to the 175th anniversary of Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov, a famous Russian composer.
The name of the festival clearly reflects its concept and endless opportunities of art. Due to its rich and variegated program with participation of leading artists from the country’s leading theatres, our spectators will be able to become introduced to real masterpieces of the global opera art.
In Krasnodar, opera gains popularity every year, and this year it has even beaten the attendance records.
