Krasnodar, 7 May – Yug Times. About 400,000 people throughout the Kuban region have reportedly taken part in solemn demonstrations held on May 1.
In Krasnodar, the procession marched along Krasnaya street from its intersectiion with Lenin street to Postovaya street. The column was led by Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly Yuri Burlachko, Chief Federal Inspector in Krasnodar region of the President’s plenipotentiary administration in the Southern Federal District Aleksei Yermakov, City Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov, and Chair of the City Duma Vera Galushko.
Together with them marched regional and city officials, representatives of workers’ associations, political parties and public organisations, trade unions, veteran organisations and students.
