Krasnodar, 4 May – Yug Times. On May 9, the day of the 74th anniversary of the Great Victory, Krasnodar will be playing host to the 3rd charity festival, Songs of the Victory, organised by DFM Radio and OZ Mall and supported by the Southern Military District.
The festival promises to become as bright and ambitious as its predecessors held in 2017 and 2018, correspondingly. It will culminate in a concert of poems written during the war, songs by Soviet and contemporary composers, and songs performed by their authors. The performers were selected by a contest announced by DFM Krasnodar Radio. The list includes underage and adult nonprofessional singers who decided to pay tribute to their relatives that defended the Fatherland from nazi invaders during WWII.
