Krasnodar, 18 April – Yug Times. During his last week’s inspection of the Gidrostroitelei residential neighbourhood in Krasnodar, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev reportedly ordered that the existing green zones be expanded and new zones opened in the city. In particular, what was at issue was the sector of the water protection zone near the White Arrow turbodrome (a ground for drag racing and drifting). Presently, construction companies are seeking for a permit to build high-rise blocks in this place.
“The few vacant land sites left in the city remain under our control,” he said. “It’s because of our activity that the constructors are staying idle.”
According to City Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov, the City Hall had not issued any construction permits for that site. He noted that the city authorities are preventing beginning of any construction work there.
