Krasnodar, 2 April – Yug Times. Digital technologies may very soon become a driver for intensive development of the Kuban region and Russia on the whole.
Last week, Krasnodar was playing host to a practical conference, “Digitalisation strategy for the Krasnodar region: problems and prospects.” The talk was held in the context of the program “Time for New Strategies – 2019” and organised by the regional Civic Chamber, The Yug Times, the Southern regional committee of the Association of European Businesses, Agency for Investments and International Cooperation, and the regional branch of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
The activity was moderated by Igor Brener, Cargill Russia Manager and Vice Chairman of the AEB Southern regional committee who suggested that the participants discuss the current situation of the IT infrastructure in the region and give their feedback to various questions pertaining to the issue.
In his speech, Oleg Zharko, Chairman of the AEB Southern regional committee and Danone Russia Corporate Director, said: “On this business platform, Time for New Strategies, we have been discussing most important issues of social medium and economy for many years. Now we have turned to the issue of digitalisation, and we want to understand what we should do to have the IT industry develop in priority rates in the Kuban region.”
Mr. Brener noted – and the attendees supported his idea – that all events held in the framework of the Time for New Strategies program are distinguished by a high level of competence of their participants and speakers, important of the issues discussed, and singularity of the decisions offered. He thanked Centre Invest Bank, the strategic partner, Philip Morris Kuban, the platinum partner, and STIHL and PatrikMan, the silver partners, for their contribution to the event.
