Krasnodar, 29 March – Yug Times. Agricultural cooperation between the People’s Republic of China and the Krasnodar region was reportedly discussed at a meeting held at the Kuban Ministry of Agriculture and Processing Industry last week.
The meeting was attended by the regional Minister Fedor Dereka, Head of the regional branch of the Russian Export Centre Vladislav Yesin, and Zhao Bin, General Manager of Sichuan Guang’an San Yi Hotel Management Co.
“The issue of export deliveries has become very important,” Mr. Dereka stated. “We do export to China such goods as canned milk and ice-cream, and we are prepared to expand the list.” In his turn, Zhao Bin said that China is interested in imports of cereals and flour. They also consider a possibility of building a grain mill in their region.
The Krasnodar region is ready to export annually up to 500,000 tons of top-grade flour to China.
