Krasnodar, 26 February – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region has reportedly entered a top decile of Russian regions on the quantity of repaired roads.
The rating compiled by the all Russia Popular Front is based on the analysis of the fulfilled requests of local residents about reconstruction of the roads. Over 32,000 Kuban residents took part in the activity. The roads and highways distinguished by the participants had been included in the project ‘Safe and High-Quality Roads.’
Over the past two years, more than 1,300 km of regional and local roads have been repaired in the Kuban region. Last year the total amount of the regional road fund exceeded 28 billion roubles, or by 19% more than in 2017. This year, the figure is to grow to reach 31 billion roubles. Over 600 km of regional roads will reportedly be repaired in 2019.
