Krasnodar, 20 February – Yug Times. The Russian Investment Forum held in Sochi on February 14-15, has brought in really spectacular progress. The total value of the agreements signed during the event amounted to a record of 970 billion roubles, or 106 billion more than last year. The ‘sale’ of the projects to potential investors was carried out at the background of a topical business agenda.
The keynote of the Forum was the plenary meeting chaired by Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev and attended by regional leaders and top business managers.
Mr. Medvedev noted that what national projects mean is not separate reforms but complex transformations practically in all spheres. He stressed that he will be personally monitoring the execution of the national projects in the regions.
Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, in his turn, announced that according to Presidential decree the Krasnodar region has elaborated 42 regional projects. The work is being performed, inter alia, in the context of the aims and tasks stipulated by the Strategy of the region’s development until 2030.
