Krasnodar, 19 February – Yug Times. The Krasnodar regional branch of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RUIE) has reportedly concluded a cooperation agreement with the regional Legislative Assembly. The document was signed by Chairman of RUIE regional branch Viktor Budarin and Chairman of the regional parliament Yuri Burlachko.
“The importance of this agreement is explained by the fact that the work of the business sector is closely connected with the laws and regulatory enactments adopted by legislators,” Mr. Budarin commented. “The economic result of the entire work depends on the balance of interests of the business sector, consumers and state in the laws.”
He added that due to the agreement, the Legislative Assembly will receive reliable information about the state of business and investment climate in the region, and entrepreneurs’ proposals on elimination of administrative barriers.
“This agreement is another step on the way of the dialogue between business and power,” Mr. Burlachko summarised. “The deputies want the opinion of top managers of Kuban companies and organisations to be as much as possible taken into account for legislative purposes.”
