Krasnodar, 19 February – Yug Times. The Rating information agency has announced the list of the Russian regions that showed the highest life quality in 2018.
As was expected, the list was topped by Moscow, St. Petersburg, and the Moscow region, followed by Tatarstan, the Belgorod, Krasnodar and Voronezh regions, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug, and Lipetsk and Kaliningrad regions. These were the regions that live better than all other Russian regions.
The top ten regions made for about a half of the aggregate gross regional product, 40% of the retail turnover, and about 40% of the investments in fixed assets.
The North Caucasus Federal District showed the worst figures: Kabardino-Balkaria, Ingushetia and Karachai-Cherkessia were at the tail end of the rating.
According to the Rating agency, the regions were collated on 70 indices of factual aspects of living conditions and social situation.
