Krasnodar, 15 February – Yug Times. During the next six years, 14 technoparks will reportedly open in the Krasnodar region.
Speaking at a session of the regional Ministry of Education, Vice Governor Anna Minkova said :
“By 2024, we will have to provide further education to 80% of the children, and give them good conditions for upbringing. It’s a serious task, bearing in mind that all our schools work in two shifts which means that it’s hard to run study or hobby groups or optional classes at schools.”
Ms. Miniova referred to the Quantorium Innovation Technological Park in Krasnodar as a positive example of supplementary education.
“This [newly-opened] centre has already gained popularity, it unites a lot of kids,” she stressed. “By 2024, we must open four stationary technoparks in our cities with the population of over 60,000 – Anapa, Novorossiysk, Sochi and Armavir, and 10 mobile parks in rural localities.”
