Krasnodar, 25 January – Yug Times. The Krasnodar region plans to fully adopt the system of electronic tenders. Last week, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and RTS-Tender CEO Ivan Tyryshkin discussed how the new system would improve the efficiency of public contacts.
“It is important that small and midsize businesses and agricultural producers take an active part in the tenders financed from the regional budget,” Mr. Kondratiev stated.
“The electronic platform will give them such a possibility, and it will make the whole procedure of public purchases as transparent as possible.” Mr. Tyryshkin informed that the service offered by RTS-Tender has been acknowledged as one of the most efficient tools. It is already being implemented in the Moscow region. The module allows to make all purchases - contract fulfilment stage included - an electronic process.
“It is a unique platform,” he said.
“Its main advantage is the tools it offers to control the expenditure of governmental money at all stages of contract fulfilment.” Mr. Kondratiev emphasized the importance of the fact that the system is able to monitor market prices and control purchases.
