Krasnodar, 22 January – Yug Times. Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev has reportedly presided over a session of the interdepartmental commission on protection of the rights and interests of equity construction holders.
The meeting was attended by deputy governors, law enforcement officers, prosecutors, municipal officials and members of the flat coowners’ initiative groups. Speaking at the session, Mr. Kondratiev was quoted as saying that the solution of flat co-owners’ problems remains a priority task for the regional power.
The current list of deceived flat coowners consists of 2,843 persons; 233 construction projects are staying behind schedule – mostly, due to some insignificant causes, so that the projects are to be completed by the initial constructors. However, 55 projects, including high-rise blocks whose commissioning has been postponed for several years in a row, need new investors. In 2018, 11 such projects were completed, and dwellers of Krasnodar and Sochi that had been waiting for their flats to be built for over five years finally received their keys.
