Krasnodar, 13 December – Yug Times. For Andrei Gariaev, Kamavtoresurs Ltd. CEO, his company has become a mighty tool of humanitarian aid. He is well-known for his successful business that maintains over 800 jobs, supermarkets, a medical centre, and aid rendered to the students of Poltavskaya Boarding School and the inhabitants of the town.
Andrei started his career back in the 1990s, when it was considered almost impossible to build up a business able to bring profit and at the same time work to the benefit of the entire neighbourhood. But our hero was not the one that would give up his plans. He says that it was better to try and then to pity what you had done than not to try and then to pity what you hadn’t done.
Before opening his own business, Andrei Gariaev had for four years been selling spares for KamAZ lorries. As soon as he had collected some capital, he bought a broken-down repair depot in his native town of Poltavskaya, and founded his own company, Kamavtoresurs, on its basis.
On 14 November, the company celebrated its 23rd birthday. The main result of the whole period of work of the company is its continuous expansion and a thousand happy customers and partners, among them such large market players as Rosneft, Gazprom, Transneft, and, of course, agricultural companies of the Krasnodar region. Even Russian Ministry of Defence and leading companies of the road-construction industry trust Gariaev’s company to do the repairs of their vehicles.
Andrei has opened 14 shops selling spare parts for KamAZ trucks - nearly all of them are located in the Krasnodar region, but in 2018 he expanded his business to Crimea.
For Andrei Gariaev, the past 23 years were rich in events: he was able to turn a broken repair depot into a big and profitable business that had a positive effect on the local economy and improved the life level in Poltavskaya. Nonetheless, his work experience, strong team and public and municipal support let Andrei face the future confidently.
