Krasnodar, 16 November – Yug Times. Five Kuban dwellers won prestigious cars in the raffle held by OZ Mall.
For four months, the buyers registered their cheques from OZ Mall stores and received coupons for the raffle. Every second week, starting from September 9, there was a drawing at the Mall’s main stage. And the long-awaited final drawing took place on November 4 – on that day, a Volvo V40 Cross Country found its owner.
“Volvos have the status of safest cars in the world, and in 2018 the new XC60 crossover was acknowledged ‘The best premium compact crossover of the year’,” Techno Temp general director Andrei Safonov explained.
“Besides, this model is very easy to drive, so it may fit a beginning driver as well as an experienced one.”
Yevgeni Shtelmakh, a 35-yearold resident of Krasnodar, was the owner of the brand-new crimson car raffled on September 9.
The second car was won by Dmitri Kalmykov from Krasnodar. The third, this time whitecoloured Volvo left for Chernomorsky, Seversky district, to Natalia Kalakutok. The blue hatchback with a masculine design was drawn by Vladimir Pavliuk from Tuapse.
But it was the fifth drawing that was awaited with great restlessness. Over 12,000 spectators came to the main square in front of the OZ Mall on November 4 to see the drawing of the raffle.
Apart from the Volvo as the grand prix, the buyers could win certificates from the restaurants Georgian Vacations, The Naked Chef, IL Patio, and Origami; children’s amusement centres Minopolis, Mowgli, and Karamelka (‘sugarplum’); cafeteria DONUTS & COFFEE and Cosmic Latte; stores Geox, Strellson, Toska Blu, Tamaris, Henderson, The Seventh Heaven, HOFF, AP Home, Apple. Yakut Diamonds; and Ginza Hotels & Apartments chain.
Finally, the fifth winner of a Volvo car was Aleksandr Golubov from Tuapse. He said it was a mere chance that he had come to the drawing – en route home from a business trip.
