Krasnodar, 9 November – Yug Times. The fulfilment of the program of development of the motor road network at the cost of the regional Road Foundation is under way in the Kuban region, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev announced.
“The total amount of the regional Road Foundation reached the record 28.2 billion roubles this year; the program has been fulfilled by 70%,” he stated. “The money from the fund has been spent to repair and construct over 400 km of roads.”
He also referred to the construction of the 15-km-long section of the road from Nizhegorodskaya to Mezmai as one of the most important projects that were completed in 2018. “The works will continue next year,” Mr. Kondratiev promised. “In Krasnodar, we plan to repair a number of roads and overpasses. Another major project will be the construction of the detour of Leningradskaya: there will be four flyovers along the 19.5-km-long road. It will be an alternative free road to the M-4 Don highway that will become a turnpike road.
