Krasnodar, 23 October – Yug Times. By the end of the year, a single procedure of dealing with unauthorised constructions will be presented to all Kuban municipalities, Vice Governor Andrei Alekseyenko said at a teleconference held in Sochi last week. According to him, currently there are 1,716 unauthorised construction projects in the region.
Mr. Alekseyenko reminded that the Russian Urban Planning Code was amended last summer. The amendments expanded the competences of the state construction supervision and capital construction control authority.
The Krasnodar region also prepares its own decision on measures to prevent and suppress unauthorised construction activities.
“A single procedure of dealing with unauthorised construction sites will be recommended to all Kuban municipalities,” Mr. Alekseyenko said. “This would be a code of regulations governing the municipalities’ relations with the state construction supervision authority.”
He also made it clear that many problems often occur because of the lack of such regulations.
