Krasnodar, 14 September – Yug Times. Last week, Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev inspected the reorganised Sedin Factory in Krasnodar, whose machine-tool production has of late resumed. “It was hard to believe that the factory will be restored, but now there are no doubts that the Kuban machine-tool building industry has a good future,” Mr. Kondratiev said. “Kuban and all other parts of Russia need high-technology machine-tools. I don’t doubt that this mighty enterprise will again be a pride of our region and of Russia; our economy should be based on such enterprises.”
Veniamin Kondratiev noted that the Sedin Factory has always been unique in terms of its production potential, which is why it is a strategically challenging task to preserve its production profile.
