Krasnodar, 12 September – Yug Times. Last week, Gelendzhik was hosting the Hydro Avia Salon 2018 airshow and scientific conference. Kuban Governor Veniamin Kondratiev took part in the opening ceremony of the show. “I am glad to see here people of various specialities and trades,” he said. “Advanced technologies must not be far and incomprehensible for life.”
The business part of the airshow’s agenda was marked by signing of a series of contracts and agreements. In particular, the Kuban regional authorities expressed their desire to introduce an automated transport management system “Smart City” in major municipalities of the region. The system developed by the Schwabe holding is already working in Moscow. It includes traffic lights, controllers, CCTV cameras, various sensors and the software. The system allows to forecast appearance of traffic jams in certain streets and let the drivers take adequate measures to resolve the situation.
