Krasnodar, 6 September – Yug Times. Young academics and entrepreneurs continue to submit applications for governmental backup. The Innovations Promotion Foundation continuously runs grant contests aimed at the opening of new and support of the existing small innovative companies that use results of their own scientific and technological research to make a product or render a service.
The results of the contests will be announced by the end of the year. The sum of the grants will amount to 2 million roubles for the existing companies and 6 million roubles for the beginners. The deadline for the applications is September 25. The winners will get grants of 500,000 roubles each for a two-year period.
The declared aim of the program is governmental support of young scholars, and stimulation of professionals to open enterprises required to commercialise the results of scientific research.
