Krasnodar, 29 August – Yug Times. The Kindness Corporation has presented Krasnodar dwellers with a bright family festivity.
For the fourth year in a row, fathers gathered in the City Park in Krasnodar on the last summer Sunday. Presence of mothers was also encouraged, but all activities had been prepared for fathers and their kids. The Dad Can Do It festival had a variegated program. It included ‘mobile points’ of the British Football School, the Museum of Wonders, the Media School, the English and Robotics Centre, various talent boutiques and sports grounds. “The main mission of the festival is to draw families together in our time, when our life is being more and more filled with technologies, work pressure and cares,” Natala Matsko, General Director of the Kindness Corporation, says. “We are aiming to organise diverse and useful leisure activities that would be available to all and interesting to adults and kids.”
The festival is known to stimulate fathers’ talents. They could show their skills and at once teach their kids to do ‘tricks’.
“We are striving for creating a society of active dads who want to pass their skills to the kids,” Natalia Matsko said. “For instance, we had a daddesigner who drew together with the kids, a dad-cook, a dad-potter, and many others.”
The ‘race of babies’ was another bright moment of the festival. Little kids that could only crawl but not walk had a chance to win the first prize for their family.
There also was a new entertainment for the older kids - a chance to crash down a barrel with sweets.
Natalia and her colleagues’ endeavours justified themselves: the Kindness Corporation achieved its aim and organised a warm town festival that draws families closer and gives an opportunity to dads and their kids to have fun and spend more time together.
