Krasnodar, 23 August – Yug Times. All life-support systems will reportedly be fully prepared to the upcoming autumn and winter season by October 1.

The preparedness of the Russian regions to the cold season of 2018–2019 was the theme of the last week’s conference in Moscow chaired by Vice Prime Minister Vitali Mutko, and attended, among other regional leaders, by Deputy Governor Anatoli Voronovsky.

Mr. Mutko noted that heat must promptly and uninterruptedly come to the houses of inhabitants of all Russian regions. Audits of all life-support systems must be completed shortly.

“The preparation to the winter has turned to the homestretch in the Krasnodar region,” Mr. Voronovsky stated. “Taking into consideration our climatic peculiarities, all life-support systems will be fully ready by October 1.” The regional budget has allocated more than 4.6 billion roubles for the preparation for the winter season, of which about 2 billion will be spent to ensure the uninterrupted operation of life-support systems in social establishments.
