Krasnodar, 16 August – Yug Times. The General Prosecutor’s Office has announced the results of their anti-corruption activity in the first half of 2018.
Upon the General Prosecutor’s request, over 1,700 public officers were discharged in Russia for the ‘loss of credit’ for commitment of corruption offence. What is at issue is the concealment of their revenues, expenditures, property and material liabilities, failing to take measures to settle the conflict of interests, entrepreneurial activity in violation of anti-corruption bans, etc.
The General Prosecutor’s Office also published a full list of the public register of the officers dismissed for the loss of credit for corruption offence. As regards the Krasnodar region, nine local governmental and public officers are on the list. According to the General Prosecutor’s Office, the law does not forbid employing the persons included in the said list – it is the employer that should take a final decision. However, HR agencies may check the public officers, and if it proved they were on the list it would a sort of ‘black mark’ for the ex-officials when seeking another job.
