Krasnodar, 14 August – Yug Times. An Internet poll recently performed on the results of the first six months of the year in the Krasnodar region has reportedly clarified such issues as satisfaction with the work of the municipal heads, quality of water and heat supply, and development level of public transport.

The average level of satisfaction with the work of the municipal heads is 65.8%. The leader is Andrei Kharchenko, Armavir Mayor (80%), narrowly followed by Sochi Mayor Anatoli Pakhomov (79.7% of positive votes) and Korenovsk District Head Sergei Goloborodko (78.5%). The list of outsiders consists of four municipalities, where the satisfaction level stopped short of 50%: the Belorechensk, Gulkevichi, Kushchevsky and Labinsk districts. Belorechensk showed the worst results - only 37.2% of its inhabitants said they were happy with the work of their municipal head.

Naturally, satisfaction with the life is much more than the work of the respective municipal head only - here, availability of modern conveniences is seen as one of the most important factors.

In opinion of Kuban dwellers, transport service in the municipalities leaves much to be desired. The average satisfaction in the region was 49.9%. What was interesting was that such districts as Kushchevsky, Krylovsky and Pavlovsky which are transit areas for the M-4 Don highway and, consequently, experience a heavy traffic load, were the absolute outsiders in this issue, with less than 35% respondents stating they were satisfied with the transport service in their respective districts. The best result was shown in Armavir and Tuapse, with more than 60% residents stating that they were quite satisfied with their municipal roads.
