Krasnodar, 3 August – Yug Times. The area of the 30th Anniversary of the Victory Park will reportedly be landscaped in Krasnodar. Currently the landscaping projects are being developed by the students of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction of the Kuban State Agrarian University.
They will have to present eight variants for possible development of the area around the submarine sitting in the park as a historical exhibit. The students are suggesting to service a recreation zone 50 to 70 m from the ship in various styles: from military with playgrounds, pools and streetlamps in the form of cartridge cases and fountains shaped as sea mines, to a conventional ground with a beach. The works have been initiated by officers of the regional branch of the Russian Navy Assembly. According to Assembly’s deputy chairman Valeri Alterman, the sailors have been requesting to repair the submarine and landscape the surrounding area since 2016. “The students have presented three nice variants, but they all presuppose that the submarine should be in normal condition, while now it’s a scrap pile,” Alterman said.
