Krasnodar, 17 July – Yug Times. Last week, the visitors of the Krasnodar Exhibition Hall had a chance to see an exposition that struck them with symphony of feelings.

The exhibition was entitled ‘I came to this world to see the sun.’ And it was by the sun, warm light and wonderful energy of kindness that this exhibition must have won the hearts of the viewers. This was a case when a visitor got a chance to dive into the art that warms up and gives hope and faith.

As soon as you meet Nikolai Janian, the author of the displayed paintings, you would feel his openness and unbelievable unselfishness. His exhibition lasted for six days only, and all that time the hall was full of sunlight. Janian’s still lives (and his other works too) strike with openness. There is not a single gloomy dab of paint, not a single frightening shade - the hues seem either to compete or to ally with each other. A remarkable sense and interesting presentation of the colours arouse feelings akin to heavenly joy.

The still lives as if came from a different and dreamy world. Janian’s style combines impressionistic and expressionistic traits with ethereal light and spontaneity. Apart from the still lives, the exhibition featured Janian’s marine and mountain landscapes. But his sea is again much more of a symphony of feelings rather than minutely drawn waves and ships.
