Krasnodar, 12 July – Yug Times. Deputies of the regional Legislative Assembly have got the current problems of the Timashevsk district under control. Last week, the Legislative Assembly became the venue of a meeting of Chair Yuri Burlachko with a group of municipal executives from Timashevsk. Its participants discussed the measures required to ensure socioeconomic advancement of the area. “The main purpose of our meeting is to assess the current state of affairs in the Timeshevsk district as regards economy and social sphere,” said Yuri Burlachko. “We will have to discuss the difficulties the district is facing and determine the ways for their solution by joint efforts.”
The list of the most urgent issues includes scarcity of power-generating facilities and drawbacks of the power supply system that hinder the economic development. High density of population and a significant level of migration have increased the burden upon the social facilities. Speaking about the investment appeal of the municipality, Vice Chair Sergei Altukhov noted that Timashevsk is in the list of the ten most investment appealing areas in the Krasnodar region, but many investment agreements have been cancelled because of bad financing.
