Krasnodar, 10 July – Yug Times. The economic and demographic situation in the country leaves no chances for the current pension system to survive, and it will have to be transformed in near future.
Last Friday, the regional branch of the United Russia party held a public discussion of the pension reform. Trade union and public activists together with health care executives and other experts assessed the bill, especially the provision for raising the full retirement age. Although most speakers argued in favour of the document, some of them called to be cautious when taking the final decision.
All proposals submitted during the discussion will be summarized and duly considered.
