Krasnodar, 9 June – Yug Times. The forum was held for the Eastern Economic Zone of the Krasnodar region, that consists of ten municipalities: Uspensky, Kavkazsky, Kurganinsk, Gulkevichi, Novokubansk, Novopokrovsky, Tikhoretsk, Tbilissky, Beloglinsky rayons and the city of Armavir.
The recent Novokubansk Product Business Forum has become the first business site of a municipal level that has ever been held in Russia. The successful trial may reportedly be copied nationwide.
The agenda of the forum was very rich. Its five discussion sites debated on the possibilities of promotion of goods and services through social networks, growth of the agricultural business, aspects of youth entrepreneurship, and affordability of municipal contracts and the level of investment appeal of the Novokubansk rayon. The plenary session “Business and power synergy in the interests of local economy development” was devoted to the discussion of the development prospects for small and midsize businesses, and summarised the results of the entire forum.
In their speeches, the regional and federal officials that attended the forum thanked Novokubansk Head Aleksandr Gomodin for the organisation of the event.
“I am confident that suchlike forums should be held in all economic zones of our region – it’s one of the conditions for the formation of a propitious investment climate and business development,” stated Vice Chairman of the regional parliament Sergei Altukhov. “Here the entrepreneurs were able to get first-hand information about governmental support and peculiarities of the work with state-guaranteed orders; small and middle businesses could discuss their cooperation with large companies, including retail chains. The youth could learn how to launch a business and lead their start-ups to success.”
