Agrocomplex Ranks High Among Nation’s Agricultural Leaders

Krasnodar, 8 June – Yug Times. The Agrocomplex Company occupies the fourth place in the list of Russia’s largest landowners, states a survey held by the BEFL Audit and Consultancy Company.

For the second year in a row, the list is topped by the Prodimex, the country’s biggest sugar producer. Together with Agrokultura affiliated with Prodimex, it owns 790,000 hectares of land. The second largest landlord is the Miratorg Holding owning 676,000 hectares of land; it went up by two positions since the time of the previous survey. The third largest landowner is the Rusagro Company with 675,000 hectares, one position down from the last year’s result.
