Krasnodar, 31 May – Yug Times. On May 30, Novokubansk will be hosting a unique event – the first municipal business forum.
The task of the event is to support and develop the entrepreneurship in the eastern economic zone of the Krasnodar region. The business event is supported by the regional administration, Agency for Strategic Initiatives, and regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The forum is looking forward to receive about 300 participants – mainly representatives of small and midsize businesses, top managers of industrial companies and municipal heads of the eastern economic zone that unites ten rayons of the Krasnodar region.
The forum will let the entrepreneurs establish direct cooperation with suppliers of goods and services, bypassing intermediates.
The plenary session “Synergy of business and power in the interests of development of local economy” has reportedly been announced as the main event of the forum. It will be attended by Deputy Chair of the regional Legislative Assembly Sergei Altukhov, Deputy Chair of the State Duma’s Committee for Control and Regulations Natalia Kostenko, regional Business Ombudsman Igor Yakimchik, plenipotentiary of Kuban Governor Viacheslav Legkodukh, Head of the regional Department for Investments and Development of Small and Midsize Entrepreneurship Yuri Volkov, and Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives on Promotion of New Projects in the Southern Federal District Rashid Kudaev.
The agenda of the event includes roundtables, lectures and a presentation of best business projects.
For the city of Novokubansk and other rayons of the eastern economic zone, the first municipal business forum may prove as important as the traditional Synergy Global Forum for the business community in Russia and other post-Soviet countries.
