Krasnodar, 22 May – Yug Times. An exhibition of unique pictures drawn by amateur artists has reportedly opened at the Consulate General of Turkey in Novorossiysk. The exposition presents 38 works of students of the Raphael Art Academy. Speaking at the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Consul General Yunus Emre Özigci stated that although the Russian - Turkish relations may be described as “reasonably developed”, they continue to demonstrate the dynamics towards further expansion and strengthening.
Director of the Raphael Art Academy Vladislav Nesynov was one of the protagonists of the ceremony. “Art experts have been disputing about Leonardo da Vinci’s mother: who was she - Russian, Polish, Circassian or Turkish, and whose culture may she be referred to?” said Nesynov commenting on the world-famous painting.
