Krasnodar, 16 May – Yug Times. For the 150 years of races in the Kuban region in the Krasnodar territory a new race-ground has opened.
The equitation complex started working in the Pavlovskyi district on may the 12th. It’s the second certified hippodrome in the region and the 7th in Russia. Especially to allow the competitions to take place, the season has been prolonged three days in length, making it 22 days long- the longest in the whole country.
The residents and visitors of the municipality were congratulated with the opening of the new hippodrome in the Pavlovskyi district by the vicegovenator Andrey Korobka.
In his own words, the Kuban is among the leading region in horsebreeding in Russia. Local jockeys often bring home many prestigious trophies both on a national and international level. Horse races in the Kuban region, are one of the most spectacular and beloved of sports - pointed out the vicegovernor - So i don’t have the slightest doubt that the hippodrome will be full of sportsmen and fans alike.
More than 12000 people were guests of the Pavlovskyi hippodrome. They watched the first eight entries. Purebreed horses of English, Arab and Akhaltekin race showed their skills.
