Krasnodar, 26 April – Yug Times. An Italian business mission has reportedly visited the Krasnodar region to identify the priorities for bilateral cooperation. In the framework of the visit, Governor Veniamin Kondratiev and Ambassador Pasquale Terraciano discussed partnership in various sectors of economy.
Mr. Kondratiev noted that Italy has been a trustworthy partner of the Krasnodar region, which is highly interested in further advancement of mutual relations. In particular, the Italian experience may prove useful to develop alternative power engineering. Honorary Consul Pierpaolo Lodigiani confirmed presence of the investor that is ready to start cooperation in this sphere. In the near future, a meeting with Italian businesses will be organized in Krasnodar to discuss in detail wind wind-power engineering issues.Mr. Terraciano announced that this is his second visit to Kuban this year, which proves seriousness of intentions of the Italian side.
“Fifty-four companies participate in the business mission,” said he. “Italy is prepared to maintain a friendly dialog with Russia in economic and cultural spheres. Sanctions should not be a norm; they should end one day.”
