Our today’s interviewee is Dean of Law School Prof. Sergei Potapenko.
Q.: Can you enumerate some of the most famous former graduates of your School?
A.: We have really had lots of famous graduates. Apart from Governor Veniamin Kondratiev, I can mention Chairman of the reginal Legislative Assembly Yuri Burlachko, Chairman of the North Caucasian Arbitration Court Aleksei Shishkin, and many others.
Q.: You must have some interesting traditions. Can you reveal some of them?
A.: Law School has always been in the thick of things. Our teachers take an active part in legislative activity as experts; they work at Public Committees of law enfocement agencies, and even are members of the Board of Judges as public representatives.
Q.: How are you going to celebrate your jubilee?
A.: The present economic situation is difficult, which is why we decided not to hold festivities and expensive banquets. All will be quite plain and logic: we will hold an international theoretical and practical conference “Law School of Kuban State University: 60 years of serving to science and practice.”
