Krasnodar, 4 April – Yug Times. Last week, Krasnodar City Administration presented the list of street sections to be repaired this year in the framework of the federal project “Safe and Quality Roads”.
The repair works are planned on 63 streets and two overbridges at Tikhoretskaya and Ofitserskaya Streets. Twelve sections are already being repaired; in April, 27 more and in June the last 24 sectors will be added. Altogether, 74.4 km of the city’s roads will be repaired. The total cost of the works is about 2 billion roubles.
Experts forecast that the most complicated sections will be the roundabout at the intersection of Ofitserskaya and Tikhoretskaya Streets. “We plan to transform the roundabout into a T-shaped intersection,” explained Director of the city’s Department for Transport and Roads Vladimir Arkhipov. “[During the repair works, the section] will not be closed for traffic - the works will be performed at night.”
However, to be able to use the newly repaired roads, the city drivers will have to arm themselves with patience. If there is no force majeure, all scheduled works must be completed by the beginning of the new school year.
