Krasnodar, 16 January – Yug Times. Krasnodar is getting prepared to a large-scale road repair scheduled for this year.
The road surface will be upgraded in the framework of the national program “Save and High-Quality Roads.”
The final list of the roads to be repaired in 2018 will be ready after a survey and assessment of the work volumes. The process of tendering and placement of contracts is to be completed by the end of March.
Altogether, more than 80 km of the city roads will be repaired this year. The priority will be given to the streets where public transport plies and sectors that need minor repairs rather than complete overhaul. It may be both downtown thoroughfares and the outskirts — like Starokorsunskaya, Znamensky, Industrialny, Lazurny, Loris and Progress.
“The year 2017 was rather successful for Krasnodar — we managed to stabilize the financial situation, and took part in many national and regional programs,” stated Krasnodar Mayor Yevgeni Pervyshov. “We will have to continue this work, accomplish the begun projects, and proceed to new ones.”
