First Toll Highway Appears in Kuban

Krasnodar, August 27 – Yug Times. According to the resolution published on the website of the Russian Cabinet of Ministers, the first toll highway to appear in the Krasnodar region by May 1, 2019, will be the section of M-4 Don highway from 1195 to 1319 km. However, the precise date when the system is to be introduced has not been announced yet.

The money collected will reportedly be used to partially cover the repair works of this section of the highway.

Another toll section of M-4 Don highway will soon appear in the Rostov region, (from 1091.6 to 1119.5 km, which is the border with the Krasnodar region).

Earlier what was said as the toll highway in the Krasnodar region was a newly constructed alternative highway leading to the Black Sea. But as the situation looks now, even the Far Western Detour of Krasnodar may become a toll road one day.
